Biography
Aidan Ramey has worked at NASA Ames Research Center since 2019. He brings extensive experience in spacecraft hardware/circuit design, integration, and testing, as well as his years of creating systems engineering documentation, and managing hardware, personnel, and test campaigns to the Flight Instrument Group (FIG). He is working on the Mars Sonic Anemometer (MSA) as part of FIG, as well as working to design future circuit boards needed by the team.
Aidan possesses extensive technician experience as well, obtaining the following certifications.
- NASA 8739.4 Crimping, Interconnecting Cables, Harnesses and Wiring Certified Operator/Inspector
- IPC J-STD-001 Certified IPC Soldering Specialist + Space Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum
- NASA STD 8739.1 Workmanship Standard for Polymeric Application of Electrical Assemblies
