Turbulence Modeling Resource

NASA researchers play a key role in the development, validation, and communication of turbulence models to the CFD community. This page links to the Turbulence Modeling Resource (TMR) website on GitHub.

What is the TMR?

The Turbulence Modeling Resource (TMR) contains information on turbulence and transition models, verification and validation cases, and other reference information such as experimental data and DNS/LES data. Keeping the TMR up to date ensures that the entire CFD community has access to state of the art tools and the latest research in the area of turbulence modeling. If you would like to contribute to this database, contact Ethan Vogel or Clark Pederson.

Additionally, the Turbulence Model Benchmarking Working Group meets regularly to discuss the expansion of the TMR, as well as to coordinate research efforts related to turbulence modeling and turbulence model benchmarking. For more information please contact Brian Smith of Lockheed-Martin, or George Huang of Wright State University.
