Re-framing the Coral Solution

An OCEANOS intern ties a loose piece of staghorn coral to a square frame in the water off of Punta Soldado, Culebra (Puerto Rico). These frames act as a ‘coral farm,’ and will be secured on the ocean floor until the corals grow enough to be replanted into vulnerable and damaged reefs around Culebra.
