Comprehensive Remote Sensing is a nine-volume textbook published in 2018 that covers all aspects of remote sensing. It is a comprehensive resource that has benefited both students and researchers who want to further their understanding of remote sensing. Pontus Olofsson was an author of a chapter in the first version on sampling and inference techniques for map accuracy assessment and area estimation. Olofsson was invited in February to author additional chapters for the second version of Comprehensive Remote Sensing. The first version is available here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/referencework/9780128032213/comprehensive-remote-sensing.
