Former Astronaut Thomas Kenneth Mattingly II

Ken Mattingly was selected in NASA's fifth group of astronauts in 1966. A member of the prime crew for the Apollo 13 mission, he was bumped just before launch after he was exposed to rubella. He went on to fly to space on the Apollo 16, STS-4, and the STS-51C missions. He retired from NASA in 1985.
