Why is it important for there to be women in Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) jobs at NASA?
My primary responsibility is to support team members in advancing new cognitive technology developments, by applying artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to cognitive communications, which will enable NASA’s space communication systems to achieve new levels of efficiency and autonomy. Building a career in technology has proven that being a women who likes challenges can provide a critical role across the agency. The future is full of challenges and there is always a need for special talents to help meet those challenges head on. I would encourage women to consider a career in ICT. It’s a career of lifelong learning. Every day you learn something new and no day is ever the same, which keeps it both challenging and interesting.› We Are NASA SCaN Image Gallery
