Liftoff of SpaceX CRS-9

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifts off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying a Dragon spacecraft packed with nearly 5,000 pounds of science and supplies bound for the International Space Station. The Falcon 9 lifted off on time at 12:45:29 a.m. EDT on mission SpaceX CRS-9.
