2023 RASC-AL Competition

Background

RASC-AL is seeking undergraduate and graduate teams to develop new concepts that leverage innovation to improve our ability to operate on the Moon, Mars, and beyond. This year’s themes range from supporting lunar operations and tourism at the south and north poles to enabling long-term survival on the surface of Mars.

Up to 14 teams may be chosen to compete in the RASC-AL Forum in Cocoa Beach, FL. Each team will receive a $6,500 stipend to facilitate full forum participation. The teams with the top two overall winning papers will be invited to present their design projects to industry experts at a major aerospace conference in 2023 (additional travel stipends provided).
