It’s been 75 years since a group of scientists and engineers, and community and industry leaders broke ground for what would eventually become the NASA Glenn Research Center. The Aircraft Engine Research Laboratory would eventually bear the name of NASA Astronaut and Ohio Senator John Glenn, who as a Marine test pilot was among those who would push the envelope in aviation.
