NASA’s Johnson Space Center’s 15-Foot Chamber encloses a spherical space designed to test advanced concepts for battery-power systems, space vehicle actuators, and auxiliary power units. The chamber can attain a hard vacuum over a temperature range of –300°F to +300°F, and has also been used to test advanced concepts for long-term cryogenic storage and resource-control feed systems.
