
Kenneth Beaumont
Senior Scientific Programmer, Contractor, Lidar Sciences Branch, Science Directorate, NASA Langley Research Center
I am originally from Allenton, Michigan. I joined the USAF in 1979 as an Electronic Warfare Systems specialist. I retired out of Langley AFB in 1999 having spent the last 6 years in intelligence remote sensing systems. During my time in the USAF, I earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Christopher Newport University. After retiring, I went to work under the STARSS contract at the ASDC. I later became the data manager for for the SABER project for 9 years. I currently work for ADNET Systems as a Senior Scientific Programmer on the CALIPSO project. I currently live in Toano, Va., with my wife Melanie.
