Julie Fletcher

Julie Fletcher is the Production Lead of the New Opportunities Center (NOC) at NASA Ames. She produces large, competed spaceflight mission proposals for Ames. Most recently, she has supported the Arcus Probe (APEX) proposal and HelioSwarm (MIDEX), due to launch in 2028.

Julie began her NASA career 20+ years ago at the NASA Astrobiology Institute. She has held a variety of project management, operational, and communications positions. One of her favorite projects was building the astrobiology website https://astrobiology.nasa.gov/ from the ground up. It continues to rank first in Google searches for astrobiology.

Julie has received numerous awards and commendations over her career, including the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, a Webby Award, and over a dozen NASA Group Achievement Awards.
