Space News (6/2, Leone, Subscription Publication, 481) continues coverage of how ISEE-3 Reboot Project now has two-way communications with the ISEE-3 spacecraft, but has discovered that the satellite was 250,000 kilometers off from where NASA thought it would be. This could result in it hitting the moon. Project leader Dennis Wingo wrote on the project’s crowdfunding website that the team has less time than expected to turn the ISEE-3’s engines back on in order to put it back into Earth’s orbit as hoped.
