
Fire and Clubtip Finger Corals with Sergeant Major Damselfish and Blue Tangs
A clubtip finger coral (Porites porites) sits at the edge of a small reef in Punta Soldado, Puerto Rico, surrounded by fire corals (Millepora alcicornis) and mustard hill coral (Porites astroides). The striped fish are a variety of damselfish called sergeant majors (Abudefduf saxatilis), and the blue fish are blue tangs (Acanthurus coeruleus).
