Aircraft Lineup

Three aircraft flown during the April 2025 NASA FireSense research campaign, sit on the tarmac at Hinesville Airport to be refueled before returning to their base of operations in Panama City, Florida. The campaign centered around prescribed burn operations at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia, and these three aircraft carried a suite of instruments to gather data about the fire, testing tools and information that can be applied to wildfires.
