
Sand Dunes in the Sahara Desert
iss069e089576 (Sept. 18, 2023) --Wind shapes a prominent network of sand dunes in part of the Sahara Desert as the International Space Station orbited roughly 260 miles above Algeria. Each year, an estimated 100 million tons of dust is picked up by winds in the area.
