NASA Artemis Underway Recovery Test 12

NASA and Department of Defense teams, onboard USS Somerset, depart San Diego as they start Underway Recovery Test-12 off the coast of California, Tuesday, March 25, 2025. During the test, the teams are practicing to ensure recovery procedures are validated as NASA plans to send the Artemis II astronauts around the Moon and splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
