
Construction of the Jet Propulsion Static Lab (JPSL)
A view facing south of the newly completed Jet Propulsion Static Laboratory (JPSL). The facility was hurriedly constructed in the summer of 1943 to test the GE I-A jet engine. It was originally called the Supercharger Building to disguise the nature of its testing.
