Deep Space Station 35 (DSS-35) in Canberra, Australia began providing communication and tracking services on October 1, 2014. The antenna, located within the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex, is the first in a series of 34 meter (111 foot) Beam Waveguide (BWG) antennas built as part of the Deep Space Network Aperture Enhancement Project (DAEP).
