Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Team Honored With Achievement Award

On October 16, 2021, the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center (AHMEC) honored the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Team with its Annual Achievement Award for “First Helicopter Flight on Another Planet: Heroic Journey, Remarkable Accomplishment.” Dr. Carlos Malpica from the NASA Ames Aeromechanics Office represented the members of the team from the NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD).
