Shuttle Atlantis’ three main engines take center stage to the banners commemorating the orbiters that served the Space Shuttle Program. In a ceremony held in front of Orbiter Processing Facility-1 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden announced the facilities where four shuttle orbiters will be displayed permanently at the conclusion of the Space Shuttle Program.

Atlantis flew STS-135, the last planned shuttle mission, in July 2011 and in retirement will be displayed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.
