The CO2 Deposition (CDep) project is developing a novel approach for using a Stirling cryogenic cooler to deposit and capture the CO2 out of space station and spaceship air. This collaborative effort with the Science Mission Directorate is a first principles heat transfer and fluid dynamics analysis of the design to assess the performance and assist in the design process.
