Mission

The seven-member Expedition 73 crew gathers for a portrait inside the International Space Station's Kibo laboratory module. In the front row from left are, Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Zubritsky and Sergey Ryzhikov, station Flight Engineer and Commander respectively, and NASA Flight Engineer Jonny Kim. In the back row are Flight Engineers Kimiya Yui of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) Oleg Platonov of Roscosmos, and Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, both from NASA. Ryzhikov is holding a patch commemorating his 500th day cumulative in space across three spaceflights including Expeditions 49-50, 63-64, and 72-73.
Expedition 73

The International Space Station is pictured from the SpaceX Dragon crew spacecraft by a SpaceX Crew-8 member shortly after undocking from the Harmony module's space-facing port. The orbital outpost was soaring 272 miles above the cloudy Patagonia region of South America at the time of this photograph.

Soyuz MS-28 will transport NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev to the International Space Station.
