NASA’s Ikhana unmanned aircraft over Southern California’s high desert during the ferry flight to its new home at the Dryden (now Armstrong) Flight Research Center. The General Atomics Aeronautical Systems MQ-9 Predator B unmanned aircraft system (UAS) was acquired by NASA in November 2006 to support Earth science missions and advanced aeronautical technology development.June 23, 2007
