SUBSEA

Our science is focused on fluid venting at isolated seamounts in the deep ocean as analog environments to hydrothermal systems on other Ocean Worlds. 

The SUBSEA team represents ten different institutions, and is comprised of a multidisciplinary research team that spans the natural and social sciences, and computer engineering. The team also includes supporting personnel from NASA’s Public Affairs Office, NOAA’s Office of Ocean Exploration and Research, and the Ocean Exploration Trust.
