Teach students to analyze real satellite data. Students learn about the Earth system from a phenomena-based perspective in the atmosphere, biosphere, cryosphere, geosphere and hydrosphere. The Earth science lesson plans and activities integrate NASA data with maps, graphs and data. A section on STEM career connections allow students to read profiles of individuals who work to support NASA’s mission for better understanding the Earth system. The site also includes data visualization tools that allow users to select a data set and a graphical representation of that set.
