Learners will imagine the challenges and opportunities of asteroid mining. Learners will draw asteroid mining machines, and consider how these devices would extract, process and return mined materials to Earth. Then, learners assume roles as a scientist, explorer, lawyer or engineer and imagine what concerns or priorities their profession might have about the new technology.
The materials for this activity are also available in Spanish.
