Dr. William Wilson – NESC Academy Biography
Dr. Wilson earned a B.S degree in Applied Physics and, and an M.S. degree in Applied Physics and Computer Science from Christopher Newport University, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
He has been employed at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton VA for 35 years, where he has designed digital electronics, FPGAs, and ASICs for ground and space applications, and performed research new instruments and sensors for structural health monitoring.
He is currently a researcher in the Nondestructive Evaluation Sciences Branch. His current research interests include the application of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices, passive wireless sensors and microwave technology to non-destructive evaluation of aerospace vehicles.
