Dr. Gregory Sadowy – NESC Academy Biography

Dr. Gregory Sadowy has over 25 years of experience in the development of microwave remote sensing instruments including radar and radiometer systems operating in frequency ranges from a few MHz to over 100 GHz. Dr. Sadowy’s expertise includes radar system design and analysis, radar digital systems and digital signal processing, RF systems including transmitters, receivers and stable oscillators and electronically-scanned phased array antennas. Dr. Sadowy has contributed to a wide range of NASA radar missions and instruments including: CloudSat, UAVSAR, SMAP, MSL Lander, GPM, NiSAR, SWOT,  RapidScat, Europa REASON. Particular areas of focus include millimeter-wave radar systems and phased arrays and reprogrammable digital radar systems.
