Robert Matthew Price – NESC Academy Biography

Matt Price is a graduate research assistant at Texas A&M University studying in the Design Systems Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Richard Malak. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and is currently working on his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked on a variety of projects while at A&M, including the development of a portable heavy lift system for use in Air Force rescue operations (senior design) and research on novel methods for applying Value-Driven Design to systems with multiple use cases (CSER paper, later M.S. thesis). He has also held internships at a number of companies including SpaceX. After graduating in August 2016, Matt will be going to work full-time for Stress Engineering Services, a mechanical engineering consulting firm located in Houston, TX.
