NASA Marshall to Hold Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 9; Area Media Invited

As NASA works to ignite Artemis-era engines of new lunar discovery, team members at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will gather under a waxing Frost Moon Dec. 9 for Marshall’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. Members of the Huntsville-area news media are invited to attend.

David Burns, manager of Marshall’s Science and Technology Office, will lead the festivities, to begin at 4:45 p.m. CST on the front terrace of Building 4200 on Rideout Road, with the tree lighting to follow.

The celebration will include a musical performance by children from the Marshall Child Development Center and possibly a special guest from the North Pole. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served in the Building 4200 lobby after the tree lighting.
