NASA has awarded a contract to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) of Reston, Virginia, to provide facility operations support services to the National Center for Critical Information Processing and Storage (NCCIPS) at the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC).
NCCIPS Version Two is a firm-fixed-price contract that begins April 1 with a one-month phase-in period, followed by a one-year base period, four one-year options, and three one-year award term options. The maximum value of the contract is $116.6 million.
The contractor will be responsible for secure facility operations, maintenance, management, environmental analysis, energy management, information technology, system power and network integration of the NCCIPS facility.
The contract will be administered at the NSSC in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The NSSC performs select business activities for all NASA centers and several other federal agencies.
