NASA researchers play a key role in the development, validation, and communication of turbulence models to the CFD community. This page provides access to key turbulence modeling reference materials and updates on recent workshops and activities.
Recent updates to the TMR
The TMR is regularly updated with new test cases and information. When updates are made, you will find them described here.
The turbulence modeling resource is actively updated with new turbulence and transition models, verification and validation cases, and new reference information at regular intervals. Keeping the TMR up to date ensures that the entire CFD community has access to state of the art tools and the latest research in the area of turbulence modeling. If you would like to contribute to this database, contact Ethan Vogel or Clark Pederson.
Additionally, the turbulence model benchmarking group meets regularly to discuss the expansion of the TMR, as well as to coordinate research efforts related to turbulence modeling and turbulence model benchmarking.
