Fellowships
The MUREP Fellowship Activity in partnership with The National GEM Consortium, engages underrepresented and underserved minorities in graduate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) academic programs (Master’s, PhD).
MUREP Innovation Tech Transfer Idea Competition
MITTIC is a higher education spinoff challenge established to develop new ideas for commercialization, open to multi-disciplinary student teams attending MSIs.
NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars
NCAS targets community college students from MSIs to inspire the students to finish their two-year STEM degree, then either transfer to a four-year STEM degree program, or enter the STEM workforce.
MUREP Innovative New Designs for Space
MUREP Innovative New Designs for Space (NASA MINDS) is a multi-semester undergraduate level challenge that provides funds to student and faculty teams from Minority Serving Institutions to design and build prototypes for technologies needed in support of our Artemis mission.
MUREP Aerospace Academy
MUREP Aerospace Academy (MAA) is a national, innovative activity designed to increase participation and retention of high school students in STEM. Through cooperative agreement awards, MAA funding currently affords 8 MSIs the opportunity to develop exciting new avenues to inspire students in STEM fields.

How to Find Funding Opportunities

Explore Engagement Opportunities in NASA STEM
The NASA Research Announcement titled “Engagement Opportunities in NASA STEM or EONS” solicits education and research opportunities in support of the NASA STEM projects. EONS is an omnibus announcement that includes a range of NASA STEM Engagement opportunities for basic and applied science and technology research and other opportunities.

NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System
Supporting research in science and technology is an important part of NASA's overall mission. NASA solicits this research through the release of various announcements in a wide range of disciplines. NASA uses a peer review process to evaluate and select proposals submitted in response to these announcements. Researchers can help NASA achieve national science and technology objectives by submitting proposals and conducting awarded projects.
