For Undergraduate Students

NASA Internships:

Applications for all internships across NASA now go through https://intern.nasa.gov.

Contact melinda.a.kahre@nasa.gov to see if there is a current listing for an internship at the MCMC. 

For Graduate Students

NASA Fellowship Activity (NFA):

The NFA is a graduate fellowship program for Master’s or Ph.D. level student research during the school year. The program provides funding to work at a NASA center for 10 weeks with a mentor on a specific project.

See the NFA website for a link to the current application solicitation, and please contact us if you are interested in submitting an application to work with the MCMC.

For Postdocs

NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) Fellowship:

The NPP Program provides 1- to 3-year postdoc assignments at NASA centers including Ames. The MCMC has mentored postdoctoral fellows through this program for more than a decade. Please contact us if you are interested in applying.

Applications are accepted three times per year on March 1st, July 1st, and November 1st. Applications to work with the MCMC should go through NPP opportunity ID # 17615 “Space Science: Theoretical and Experimental Studies of the Martian Environment, Impact Assessment for Future Mars Missions.”
