
Finger Coral and Lobed Star Coral
Colonies of finger coral (Porites furcate, center) and lobed star coral (Orbicella annularis, top of the reef), sit on the ocean floor of Punta Soldado, Puerto Rico. Towards the bottom of the structure are small patches of the green calcareous algae Halimeda opuntia.
