Microalgae Payload Developer Team

The Microalgae Payload developer Team assembled at the International Space Station Processing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Houston, Texas, before turning over the payload to SpaceX. They are holding a picture of Lyndsay Baker, the inspiration for this investigation. Lyndsay was a participant of NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars and is a graduate of the Des Moines Area Community College Biotech program. This is a display of the Vegetable Production System (Veggie) unit which was originally scheduled to contain the algae.
