Fall 2016 NASA Johnson Space Center interns spent a Saturday night in October volunteering at Astronomy Day at the George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park. The group greeted the public and shared information about work at Johnson and other NASA centers. Hundreds of people, including 300 children, were able to enjoy exhibit items like a space shuttle tile, an Apollo era helmet, a spacewalk glove, moon rocks and more.
