NASA’s OSIRIS-REx Executes First Asteroid Approach Maneuver
NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, part of the New Frontiers Program at Marshall, executed its first Asteroid Approach Maneuver (AAM-1) Monday, Oct. 1, putting it on course for its scheduled arrival at the asteroid Bennu in December.
Celebrating a Year of Education on Station
This past year, NASA has been celebrating a Year of Education on Station (YES) during which astronauts and former teachers Joe Acaba and Ricky Arnold lived and worked aboard the International Space Station. While on station, they shared their interest in science, technology, engineering and math (the STEM fields) and their passion for teaching and inspiring thousands of students and educators through live events, video lessons from space and more.

NASA Right on Schedule with RS-25 Flight Controller Test
NASA stayed right on schedule with the third in a series of scheduled RS-25 rocket engine tests at Stennis Space Center Sept. 25. The hot fire represented the seventh test of a 3D-printed pogo accumulator and the third test of a main combustion chamber fabricated using a bonding technique designed to save time and money.
