Our high-speed data and imaging equipment provides our customers with the high quality data. In addition to our equipment, customer supported measurement equipment can interface with our systems.

High Speed Data Acquisition System
Signals measuring the physical conditions of the testing are captured by our data acquisition system for results analysis using measurement equipment including but is not limited to

  • Velocity,
  • Temperature
  • Pressure,
  • Voltage, and
  • Current.

High Speed Imaging System
High speed images are taken of a projectile prior to impacting a target to verify its integrity. Impacts are photographed to characterize the debris cloud and ejecta.
High speed cameras are also used to measure velocity since the projectiles rate of travel is known from one frame to the next and the velocity can easily be calculated. There are several types of imaging equipment used including

  • Ultra high speed video,
  • High speed color cameras, and
  • Flash X-ray imaging.
