  • Employees will receive two emails – one today and one tomorrow – from the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. The first will provide updates, and the second will contain the required second formal furlough notice. Participants in the Deferred Resignation Program will receive theirs at the personal email addresses they provided. Please read these emails carefully.
  • A letter is now available for employees to use when requesting relief or assistance from financial institutions, creditors, utility companies, and similar entities and can be found on the NASA Guidance page. Proof of employment may include the latest SF-50, initial and latest formal furlough notices, and/or the most recent earnings and leave statement from Employee Express.

Employees are encouraged to stay proactive and aware of available resources and support to help navigate the shutdown effectively. Center shutdown pages are being regularly updated with further information and may include local resources to support employees during the shutdown.
