Dr. Henry Nahra – NESC Academy Biography

Dr. Nahra is the Flow Boiling and Condensation Experiment fluid systems project lead engineer. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering-Fluid and Thermal Sciences, a Master degree in Physics from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master and a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University. Dr. Nahra served as the project scientist for various flight and ground microgravity experiment including critical point phenomena and bubble suspension flight experiments.

Dr. Nahra’s research interests are in the areas of Bubble flows, Bubble Formation and Detachment and Hydrodynamic Forces on Bubbles. Dr. Nahra is an AIAA Associate Fellow since 2003.  

Dr. Nahra is an adjunct faculty in the mechanical engineering department at Cleveland State University.
