These seven hands-on science activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards. The activities help students understand the dangers associated with space travel, how our bodies work differently in space than on Earth and how robots can be used to do tasks in hazardous places. Activities include “astronaut” exercises, spacesuit cooling, micrometeoroid simulation and designing robotic end effectors.
