Students are invited to propose experiments using new gene analysis tools aboard the International Space Station. One winning experiment will be launched to space!

Working individually or in pairs, students are challenged to design an experiment that uses biotechnology to address challenges in space travel and deep space exploration. From bacterial cell growth to the human immune system, everything works a little differently in space. Participation is free and does not require specialized equipment.
