The Aura spacecraft obtains measurements of ozone, aerosols and key gases in the atmosphere. Use lesson plans to learn about the ozone layers, the atmosphere and satellites. The site includes ozone posters, a collection of classroom lessons aligned to NGSS that explore the electromagnetic spectrum and NASA remote sensing instruments using student-assembled circuits; an activity in which students construct a scale model of an Earth-observing satellite that they designed and more.
