Students will investigate the impact of mass on the average speed of a propeller car.

Students will:

  • Explore the compromises engineers have to make while designing an electric vehicle with batteries.
  • Use a propeller car (premade or by design) to investigate the effect of mass on average speed. This investigation will highlight the trade-off of high-capacity batteries being heavier.
