Tori Palmer
Tori Palmer has materially contributed to the success of the Boeing Crew Flight Test (CFT) mission via her role as lead Mockup Manager over the Boeing Mockup Trainer in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF). Tori has been a key player in establishing core mockup capabilities to train the crew and flight controllers supporting the Boeing missions. She constantly explores ways to improve the training environment and her outside-the-box thinking fully supports our Boeing customer with mockup upgrades and support to new activities. She has led numerous training readiness reviews/safety reviews for new and evolving classes and for use of potential new suits, numerous one-time evaluations for evolving interior designs and seat placement, and small project fabrication work. Her dedication to her Boeing customer led to excellent facility real-time support for a successful Operational Flight Test (OFT)-2 mission. She maintains strong relationships with the various users, supports ongoing meetings and events, and continues to explore training enhancements. Her constant proactive behaviors ensure excellence, and her can-do attitude promotes a safe and effective training environment in the SVMF, all of which are key to helping ensure safe and successful Boeing missions.
