Over the past 8 years Adam has served as the Program Executive Officer, within the NASA Office of the Chief Engineer, for NASA’s Technical Standards Program.  As the Program Executive Officer, he is responsible for the development of policy and practices to help ensure NASA meets the future demands for timely, productive, and reliable space system’s standards.  In addition to this assignment, Adam is also the Program Executive Officer for the NASA Engineering Network (NEN), for which he provides strategic guidance and leadership of this critical engineering platform. This primarily encompasses the support and development of numerous Communities of Practice (CoP) as well as the enrichment of the overall technical content critical to the engineering community.  Most recently, Adam has also taken on the Program Executive function for the Special Projects Program that presently focuses on the provisioning of software engineering tools in the virtual cloud environment.

Preceding these assignments, Adam served in numerous positions within the Office of Space Flight related to Space Shuttle Program activities including operations, upgrades and transition.

Prior to relocating to NASA HQ in 2001, Adam worked at the Kennedy Space Center where he served as a Space Shuttle Orbiter Electrical (OEL) and Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) Flight Electrical Systems Engineer. In this capacity, he worked Orbiter wire and cable anomalies, wire harness modifications, operational parameters, and the space flight readiness of the Orbiter Flight Electrical subsystem. 

Adam received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Central Florida.
