Lunar Lander Challenge (2009)
Lunar Lander Challenge (2009) – Armadillo Aerospace, a spacecraft engineering startup based out of Mesquite, Texas, make final inspections on their rocket whose mission is to safely take off and land on a simulated surface that resembles the Moon. The team of engineers ended up taking second place in the 2009 competition, earning a prize of $500,000.
