Astronaut Drew Feustel conducts botany research

iss055e070862 (May 14, 2018) --- NASA astronaut Drew Feustel is photographed performing Veggie Passive Orbital Nutrient Delivery System (PONDS) operations, including cleaning the Veggie Ponds hardware and Veggie facility and then setting up for drying out in the Columbus module. The primary goal of the Veggie PONDS hardware validation test is to demonstrate plant growth in the newly developed plant growing system.
